One of my favorite places to walk is the Dobson Trail in Riverview, NB. I ended up taking Di & Suhaim here to take their engagement pictures, and it was just beautiful. Being fall, the colors were just gorgeous, and beautifully illuminated by an almost setting sun.

These two may have had a hard time warming up to the camera, but it was certainly evident that they really care about each other. Congrats on your engagement Di & Suhaim, I had a great time taking your pictures (even though you both don’t like being photographed).

Jennifer & Eddy -Wedding-

Last weekend I traveled to Memramcook, NB (close to Moncton, NB) to photograph Jennifer & Eddy’s wedding. I have to say that this is probably one of the most untraditional weddings I have ever been to.

Being a wedding photographer, I have been to my fair share of weddings, so being to one that didn’t follow a usual schedule was kind of exciting. I never knew what to expect!

There were certainly some memorable moments throughout the day. Everything from the look on Eddy’s face when he saw Jen for the first time, to the surprising playing of “White & Nerdy” at the reception.

A big thanks to Jen & Eddy for allowing me be a part of your day. Everything you guys chose for your special day really suited the two of you. I was blown away by the love the two of you have for each other, and also by the overwhelming support the two of you have in your friends and family. Congratulations, and best wishes on a happy marriage!

Choosing the photographer for your wedding is one of the most important decisions you will have to make when it comes to your big day. If you live in Greater Moncton, you have likely noticed there are plenty of photographers to choose from!

How do you make sure you get exactly what you are looking for for your wedding photography? Here are just a few quick tips to help you in your search for perfect photographer…

1. Do your personalities click?

Your photographer will be with you throughout your entire wedding day, and you want to make sure that you like being around them.

2. A job or a passion?

Just by speaking with someone, you can tell if they are passionate about what they do. It is important to look for a photographer that is truly passionate about photographing weddings. There are a lot of photographers out there who are only in wedding photography to make money.

3. Do you want to have a copy of all the pictures?

Not all photographers provide a copy of every shot taken on your wedding day. Some will only provide you with a selection of the best pictures of the day.
